I understand your concerns about the funding of this project and the complication of implementation. However, students are those who bear the heaviest burden if the cost of college textbooks continues to grow. From my point of view, the burden should be shared amongst parties, government, publishers, and students. Moreover, in the age of technology, textbooks are often obsolete when they come to the students. Universities and faculties should bring digital materials into classrooms to catch up with the world.
