It's not easy to leave Godaddy

A few years ago, I started a blog for old athletes. It has been dormant for a while, but I hope to restart activity on it some day, so I have hung on to the domain name oldathlete.com.

It was about to expire, and I decided to move it from Godaddy to Hover.com.

It turns out that to do that, you have to turn off domain locking and jump through a few other hoops. I jumped through the hoops, but when I tried to unlock the domain, I got this dialog box on the Gogdaddy site:

No problem, I just clicked the off radio button, but as you see, the option to save that setting turned off.

Its not easy to get out of Godaddy's roach motel.
